Ash Robinson is an African American artist based in Indianapolis, Indiana where she received her BFA. While attending San Diego State University for graduate school she began experimenting with a wide range of mediums and concepts. Inspired by black portraits, Robinson's work represents the pride and resilience of the Black Community. She considers her multi-media approach as a representation of an eclectic black society.

Robinson has been featured in numerous exhibitions including Cause & Æffect: Art that Speaks Out, Indiana State Museum, The Simplicity of Being: Identity & Personhood in a Complex World, New Delhi, India, as well as the Butter Fine Art Fair held in Indianapolis, IN. The Beckmann Emerging Artist Fellowship and the Creative Renewal Fellowship from the Arts Council of Indianapolis are among her top accomplishments. Ash Robinson’s artistic career proves she is capable of expertly working in any medium and that sets her apart from her peers.
